Daniel Wright is a Director and Co-founder of CUSP, bringing more than 25 years of experience in landscape architecture, urban design, and development management. His design philosophy is centred on creating distinctive and enduring places that strengthen connections between communities, natural systems, and the built environment.
Since commencing his career in 2000, Daniel has developed extensive expertise across a diverse range of projects, leading initiatives from masterplanning and concept development through to detailed design, documentation, and construction supervision. His experience spans a broad spectrum of project scales and complexities, enabling him to deliver innovative, practical, and commercially responsive design solutions that align with both client objectives and community aspirations.
Daniel broadened his professional perspective while working as a Development Manager at Stockland Development Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s largest diversified property groups. In this role, he was responsible for the successful delivery of a large-scale residential community within a new market catchment. His responsibilities included stakeholder engagement with government authorities and local communities, management of multidisciplinary consultant teams, and the development and implementation of sales, marketing, financial, and production strategies tailored to target customer needs.
Today, Daniel combines his design expertise with his development management experience to deliver thoughtful, commercially informed, and environmentally responsive outcomes. His collaborative approach, strategic insight, and commitment to design excellence enable him to create projects that generate lasting value for clients, communities, and the broader built environment.
