This major infrastructure project overseen by Nexus Delivery, is one of Queensland’s highest priority road infrastructure projects. Designed to increase freight efficiency and significantly improve driver safety and community amenity by removing heavy vehicles from Toowoomba’s CBD, the crossing will connect the Warrego Highway at Helidon Spa in the East to the Gore Highway at Athol in the west via Charlton.
Cusp were engaged to provide advice and expertise during the landscaping and revegetation works for the TSRC.
The road corridor transitions through a variety of ecosystems and geological formations. CUSP have taken into consideration the climatic and geomorphological challenges during the rehabilitation works, using a combination of different methods to adapt to the varying conditions of the site. CUSP is carrying out quality checks and inspections to ensure that design specifications are met.
