Gekko joined the CUSP team in 2025 whilst studying for a Bachelor of Design, Landscape Architecture at the Queensland University of Technology.

Gekko has a passion for environmental conservation thanks to his previous work in bush regeneration, providing him with skills in plant identification and restoration planning. These experiences continue to shape his approach to landscape architecture, fuelling his interest in integrating food production and ecological regeneration into everyday spaces.
