Growing up on his family’s nursery in Cairns, Brenton developed a lifelong passion for plants and for exploring Far North Queensland’s creeks and waterways. This early connection to the natural environment inspired his career as a landscape architect and continues to influence his design philosophy today.

Since joining the CUSP team in 2021, Brenton’s passion for plants and waterways has driven his involvement in numerous waterway restoration and rehabilitation projects, all aimed at enhancing and repairing the natural environment as well as inviting people to explore and enjoy it. Drawing on his experience in both commercial and residential landscape architecture firms, he brings a strong understanding of the design and construction processes that shape successful landscapes.
